We warmly welcome you to join us for Sunday worship. Below you will find various worship offerings these services have different styles, so read on for an idea of what to expect. You will be sure of a warm welcome if you do join us in person. We can’t wait to gather with you on Sunday. If you are not able to join us then you can catch previous Sunday talks here
09:30 AM SERVICE
This is our more traditional Sunday service, engaging with God through a mixture of liturgy and reflective space. Most weeks we share communion although on the 3rd Sunday in the month we have a service of morning worship with a special focus for prayer. We follow the same themes and Bible passages over the 9.30 and 11.00 services with style of worship tailored to the different congregations. The music is a mixture of traditional hymns led by the choir and more modern songs. The congregation are very welcoming and would love to chat to you over coffee after the service.
11 AM – INFORMAL WORSHIP
In this time of contemporary worship we celebrate the love of God with modern songs and heartfelt worship led by our worship band. Bible teaching aims to draw us close to Jesus and help us relate the Bible’s teaching to our everyday lives. Once a month we have a multiplex Sunday where we chose how to engage with God’s word. We can stay in for a sermon, join Katie outside (dress warm!) for family godly play, or join a seminar or connect through art. From 9th January 2022 children’s groups will resume.
7 PM ENCOUNTER – We host a monthly evening gathering at St Francis called “Encounter Nights”. This is happens every third Sunday of the month. The heart for the evening is to have an extended time of worship and a space to be in God’s presence, pray, prophesy and listen to God together.
